A-Plus Water-Check® is a premium heavy-duty waterproof membrane designed to withstand both positive and negative water pressure. Specifications
Principal Uses: Ideal for sensitive areas such as basements, firewalls, above or below grade concrete walls, balconies, bathrooms, landscape walls, foundation, etc requiring both positive and negative side waterproofing
Coverage: 20-25 sqm per gallon / coat depending on the porosity of the surface
Surface Dry: 2 hrs
Recoat Interval: 2 – 3 hrs (Allow to dry for at least 1 day before painting)
Dry Through: Dry cure at 6 – 8 hrs. Optimum performance after 2 days
Thinning: Use as supplied. Thinning is not necessary.

Surface Preparation & Precautions
Precautions:
1. Stir thoroughly before application. Ensure at least 5mins mixing and induction time before using.
2. Use product as supplied. No need to add cement, powder, or thinning solution.
3. Pot life of mixed product is around 3-4hours. Close lid when not in use.
4. Store in a cool dry place at room temperature.
Surface Preparation:
- Surface to be painted must be thoroughly cleaned, free of any contaminants.
- Due to its superior adhesion and waterproofing capabilities, treating fresh concrete with A-Plus® Concrete Neutralizer is not necessary.
- Structural defects that are within reach and repairable like leaks and all sources of internal water pressure must be addressed to prolong and ensure longevity of the membrane.
- Avoid application under extreme environmental conditions and/or bad weather conditions.
Painting Procedure
- Waterproofing(1st coat): Using either a brush or roller, apply A-Plus Water-Check®. Allow 2-3 hours curing in between each coat.
- Waterproofing(2nd coat): Apply second coat perpendicular to the first coat. Allow surface to cure overnight before application of topcoat.
- Putty(Optional): Patch up surface imperfections with A-Plus® Concrete Putty. For a luxuriously smooth finish, apply A-Plus® Skim Coat 501/503.
- Topcoat: Apply at least 2 coats of topcoat color of choice. For exterior concrete, apply A-Plus Acmelux® Paint. For interior concrete surfaces, apply A-Plus All Weather® Paint.
